Community Guidelines
Readers help shape Reported.News in two ways: voting on whether a story matters, and flagging claims they think are wrong.
Voting
- Vote on whether a story matters, not whether you agree with it.
- One vote per person per story.
- Votes influence how prominent a story is on the homepage. They never change what a story says or its verification status.
- We monitor for coordinated or automated voting and may discount votes that appear to be part of a campaign.
Flagging a claim
- Flag a specific claim and tell us why you think it is wrong. Evidence and links help.
- Every flag is re-checked. If a claim does not stand up, the story is corrected and the change is logged.
- Please do not use flags to register disagreement with an opinion or a political position.
Not allowed
Abuse, harassment, spam, impersonation, or attempts to manipulate votes or flags. We may remove access for anyone who breaks these rules.
